“THE MADWOMAN UPSTAIRS” – By Catherine Lowell

This is the first book by Catherine Lowell that I have read.  I was browsing through the Indie Next list and the title caught my eye; I just could not resist buying it.  And I have zero regrets!  I really enjoyed this book and if you like the writings of the Brontes, or if you are intrigued by their lives, you will absolutely appreciate the historical detail and dissection of the purpose, motivations and familial intrigue behind their writings.  It was reminiscent of witnessing a graduate level literature course discussion. Wry, laugh-out-loud funny with twists that will keep you going to the very end…and then some!

The Guest Book...

Bob in NapaSpiral Detail

The first of this feature’s guest is my loving (and divinely patient) husband, Bob Clark. Bob enjoys playing golf and tennis, travel and is an expert margarita maker.
